CHICAGO - October 7, 2005 -- Subimo, LLC, the leader in web-based healthcare decision-support tools, has been selected as the "Best of the Web" for healthcare information by BusinessWeek's readers. This honor comes after the magazine asked its online readers to vote for their favorite websites in 29 categories ranging from travel to health. More than 16,000 votes were cast in September as part of the month-long survey.

BusinessWeek readers were able to choose Subimo, WebMD, Yahoo!Health or other healthcare sites, in the survey's health category. Subimo received almost half of the total votes cast-making it the readers' favorite website for health and medical information.

"It is a great vote of confidence to be selected as the 'Best of the Web' by BusinessWeek readers," said Ann Mond Johnson, CEO of Subimo. "As businesses and health plans continue to push accountability of healthcare decisions to consumers, their need for reliable, unbiased information resources like Subimo increases. "

Subimo recently launched MyHealthcareAdvsior.com to bring the industry's most comprehensive, tools for researching hospitals, medical conditions, and procedures directly to smaller businesses and consumers. MyHealthcareAdvsior.com is a powerful, self-service health- management portal which now offers small- and medium-sized businesses and consumers an important benefit in their healthcare cost containment efforts. The web site provides health quality information on 5,000 hospitals and 100 common conditions and procedures. The web site's personalized approach gives the user the chance to decide which factors are most important when he or she must make an important healthcare decision (a hospital's proximity to home for instance). It does give guidance on which factors to select, based on the opinion of Subimo's independent, Medical Editorial Panel.

MyHealthcareAdvsior.com is a simple, self-service version of Subimo's popular healthcare decision-support tools used by businesses and large healthcare insurers like Wellpoint, ADP, Oxford Health Plans, Harvard Pilgrim, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, and many other national and regional organizations.
